It's officially the first day of spring break around here and we are looking forward to a quiet weekend at home to knock out a few home projects as well as tackle some adoption to do's like renewing my passport! You know we will kick off the weekend by enjoying a movie and popcorn family night tonight, it's become a favorite around here. I hope you have a fabulous weekend but before we go and enjoy, I have a few favorites to share with you today!
1. Resurrection Eggs
Easter is right around the corner and one of our favorite ways to share the Easter story with our kids is with Resurrection Eggs. My kids look forward to doing it every evening. For the 12 days leading up to Easter, you open an egg and inside is something the represents part of the Easter story. I cannot recommend this enough :) It's a highlight of our Easter season! You can find them here.
2. Easter Basket Gift Ideas
Last year I shared several ideas that would be perfect for filling some bunny's basket. Click here to find all my finds. We love to add in spring time favorites like bubbles, chalk, kites, new outdoor toys and favorite games! Here are my favorite books and favorite board games.
3. 5 Easter Activities
Speaking of Easter, last year I shared 5 simple (because you know I love simple ;) Easter activities to do with your kids. My kids are already asking when we can make resurrection rolls again...so good and easy ;)! Check out the post here! You can pint it and save it for later or do a few during your spring break!
4. Leprechaun Pie
Since we are talking about holidays and yummy treats, I have to tell you about the pie my kids and I made last St. Patrick's Day. For some reason I think of mint when I think of that holiday. It's so simple (sense a theme) your little chefs can help you! Find the recipe here.
