Wow!  It's almost Halloween and the holiday season is practically upon us.  The weather has took a windy and cold turn so it feels like it too.  It's time to share everything from what we are eating, wearing, and doing.  Let's take a peak, shall we?

What we're eating this week....

Monday - taco salads
Tuesday - Philly cheesesteaks with leftover roast meat
Wednesday - Stuffing Chicken Bake
Thursday - Italian Chicken, Potatoes and Green Beans
Friday - Out
Saturday - Tailgating food
Sunday - homemade chicken pot pie
Monday - lasagna and garlic bread

What I'm Reminiscing About...

Halloween 2014
(I was morning sick and apparently didn't blog about it ;)

What I'm Loving...

My cozy outfit

I make French press coffee every morning and then drink hot water the rest of the day!  I love drinking hot water all winter long.  My tea kettle and I are very close!

What I'm Dreading...

I hate when people I love go through hard stuff!

What I'm Excited about...

Our trip to Seattle for Thanksgiving.  My parents, cousin Madelynne and our family will fly out there to see my sister and brother in law for the week.  We are all renting an AIR BNB together and doing tourist things and enjoying the holiday together!  I can't wait!  The kids are pumped.  We have been reading all about Seattle.

What I'm Watching & Reading...

This Is Us #duh

(If you like Downton Abbey I suggest this)

We have a family movie night planned this weekend after we finish book 1

You will need tissues for this book

Next up...

What I'm Listening to...

Praise music - this mix on repeat

What I'm Wearing...

PS - what do you guys think of these shoes????  I kind of love them!

What I'm Doing This Weeekend...

Last weekend for flag football - it's been a great season!

Carving pumpkins and sharing the pumpkin parable

Cheering on our 25th ranked ISU Cyclones for Homecoming

The kids are also going to a trunk or treat with the grandparents and Scott and I have a date night Friday night following a day of shopping with my mom.  Basically, Friday is going to be awesome!

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month....

What Else is New...

I applied and was selected to be a contributor the the Des Moines Moms Blog for 2018.  I am so excited to write once a month for them.   My friend Becky is also a contributor and I think the world of her.

I also am excited about sharing fun finds with 6th and Style.  You can find me on their FB page today at 2pm CST sharing my new letter board.  It's so cute!

Don't forget on Tuesday to link up and share your monthly snap shot!

Until next time, keep on keeping on  with a joyful, faith-filled life.  #tribekoko

  4. I love all your flashback Halloween pictures. I can't wait to see your pictures from Seattle. We went two year ago and just loved the Pacific NW. I had a tea kettle when we lived in England, but haven't bought one here yet. I don't want hot drinks as much now that we're back in (hot) Texas. :) Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  5. Ok, I think I'm going to have to get those cozy house slippers! I have seen everyone posting about them and they look perfect. I haven't owned house slippers since I was tiny and my feet are always freezing during the winter. Also, I haven't decided whether or not I like the mules trend yet, but those leopard ones are darling. Probably the cutest pair I've seen so far!

  10. You've got so many cute tops for Fall! And I love that orange coat you're wearing from a few Halloweens ago. Statement coats are my favorite. Your Seattle trip sounds like so much fun. I always love having a trip on my calendar to look forward to.
