Fall Bucket List

Monday, October 2, 2017

It's fall y'all, in case you hadn't heard. #kidding  The weather is feeling like it and I am spending my Sunday afternoons cheering on the cutest little #14 from the sidelines.  I love summer but this time of year just makes my heart do a little extra pitter patter.  The anticipation of the holidays, the crisp air, the way warm tea and a snuggly blanket feel at the end of the day.  So, a week into fall and the kids and I finally sat down and brainstormed all that we hope to do this fall.

I have shared before the reason we do buckets lists is to be intentional with our time.  Life gets crazy busy and if we don't plan to do some of our very favorite things, the season will slip by in a hurry without doing anything.

So without further a do, here's what we hope to do this fall!

And we have already started crossing items off the list!  These are the things long after my kids are grown and gone that we will remember.  My goal as a wife and a mom is to sow sweet memories into our family's heart.  The rest of the daily activities, the hustle and bustle, the chores and the discipline will dim but the memories will stay.

What are you most looking forward to this fall?

What did we forget to include?

Until next time, keep on keeping on with a joyful, faith-filled life.  #tribekoko

  2. You are right, the hustle and bustle will dim but the memories will last. I love the family bike ride idea. What a great fall you all have planned, and taking advantage of all this wonderful season has to offer with the people you love most. Happy Monday!

  4. What a FUN list! I remember being BOO'd by our neighbors one year... it was great! I have been meaning to do it to another neighbor since and still haven't gotten around to it. Maybe this year. ;)

  6. Such a fabulous idea as intentional is the only way!! We have lots of good intentions but if we are not intentional about carrying through then it doesn't make a bit of sense. Hats off to you for being intentional and making such sweet memories with you sweet family. Happy week my friend!

  7. I love that you said bucket lists allow you to be more intentional with you time. That is EXACTLY why I create them each season. I named our "family fun lists" but it's the best way to get our family doing more, living a bit more each season.

  8. Great bucket list. We are in the middle of having our house repainted, and I can't wait to have that finished so I can set a couple pumpkins and mums on the front porch.

  9. So many fun things on your list! I am especially curious about apple slingshot, swim in a corn pool and a Hayrack ride!! Can’t wait to follow along throughout fall.
