My mission is to encourage women to keep on, keeping on with a simply intentional life! I share encouragement, practical tips, recipes, recommendations, travel and seasonal activities. Let's connect on Instagram, Pinterest, or Facebook.
Why Intentional Living?
When I first became a mom I worked full time and was overwhelmed by the opportunities and responsibilities associated with the many hats I wore daily. When I started to be more purposeful in how I approached my day, I found I had breathing room to enjoy my family and all life had to offer.
Intentional living is about being purposeful in making daily choices. Those choices add up to the way you live your life. Living with intention manages daily routines and commitments so that there is breathing room to enjoy the best life has to offer!
I want to help women discover that breathing room in their own lives.
The Person behind the blog
I am Erin, saved by grace, wife to Scott for almost 12 years, mom of 3 biological children. Solon, our son is 8. Vera, our oldest daughter is 6 and our youngest daughter, Lucy, is 2. We are also in the process of adopting our son from China and hope touring him home by the end of 2018.
I am a teacher by degree(s) but hung that hat up for now to work from home. I fell in love with writing back in 10th grade yearbook class when my teacher taught us the power of words. Ever since I was little I had many words both on my brain and rolling off the tongue. Some things never change. I moved around a lot as a kid (11 houses before I left home and became the Mrs.) and so though I was horribly shy at first, I learned to overcome the awkward and say "hello".
Faith is at the core of who I am! I accepted Jesus as my savior at the age of 22 in premarital counseling and have been running the race with a smile on my face ever since (although I fall face first from time to time), I am thankful for the redeeming grace of God (John 3:16). You can read more about my testimony here.
Coffee, hot water and fountain soda are my go to drinks of choice! Life is better with French fries and a good dessert too! I am curious by nature and may ask you 20 questions when we meet. We love to find everyday adventure as a family and travel both near and far as time and money allow!
We love football in the fall, decorating for the seasons, visiting our family spread out across the USA and spending lots of time at our family's lake cabin in the summer. I am often found behind the wheel most afternoons carting kids to activities. I love to hang out with friends and family, listen to podcasts, read blogs and books, workout (so I can eat dessert), shop (on the rare chance I can), watch TV (Friends, This Is Us, The Crown and When Calls the Heart are favorites).
I would love to speak for your group or share your awesome products with my tribe. You can find out more here. You can also email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to hearing from you! Find more information about collaboration here.
Until next time, keep on keeping on with an intentional, joyful, faith-filled Intentional life. #tribekoko
