Friday Favorites: Window Shopping with Erin

Today I am linking up with some other bloggers (Andrea, Erika and Narci) sharing my Friday Favorites.  If you are visiting from one of their sites, welcome.  If it's your first time here, you can read more about me here.

Today I am sharing some of my favorites from a recent window shopping trip to TJ Maxx, one of my favorite stores.  I have learned if you see it, buy it!  Whatever you are eyeing might not be there next time you go, I am still thinking about this darling field vest I didn't buy last year!  Also ask a sales associate when your store gets their inventory in and shop close to that day during the week for the best finds!  I hope you enjoy...let's go shopping at TJ Maxx.  Remember all TJ Maxx stores carry slightly different inventory so your store might not have these exact items but hopefully it gives you an idea of what IS there!

I found these 2 pairs of earrings - the first reminds of a pair of Kendra Scott earrings but for $19.99, you get the look but not the price.  The right pair remind me of Kate Spade studs but for $14.99.  I love navy!!!

Next up - purses!  Above is a beautiful leather Michael Kors hobo bag for $199.99, a little steep for me but I love the color and of course the tassel (give me all the tassels!).

So when I realized the MK one was a pipe dream, I spotted this beauty for $29.99.  It has a long shoulder strap as well.  I love the cut out detail.  The brand is Olivia + Joy.

I buy my pajama pants at TJ Maxx all the time.  My all time favorites are my DKNY black jersey jammies.  These looked cozy (again navy still my heart!  I didn't get them because they weren't in my size).  This pair was $12.99.

I need these for all my converse and sperry shoes otherwise they stink after awhile.  This package is $5.99 for 5 pairs.  They had a whole display of them in a variety of colors from nude to black.

Oh I didn't want to leave these behind but I already have a pair of leopard pumps (but a girl needs 2 right?).  Sam Edelman is a popular brand our TJ Maxx had a bunch of booties and pumps, no ballet flats sadly (those are my favorites).  These shoes were marked down from $59.99 to $44 on clearance and they had several sizes.  I may regret not buying these!

I love a good pair of slippers for the winter.  I have a pair of UGG's but I have heard great things about the Minnetonka brand and at $29.99 these are a good deal.  And again - navy ;)!

How pretty are these little boxes - $3.99 (small), $4.99 (medium) and $5.99 (large).

Loved these little $3.99's true, tailgating is fun!

The stationary and gift aisle is always full of beautiful journals, cute tissue, and darling notecards.
I love these little magnet pads on the right, I got the "follow your path" one for list making around the house. They were $2.99 each.  How cute for a little hostess gift, teacher gift or thank you gift!

Home Goods and TJ Maxx always have darling furniture...I loved this chair.  It's not in the budget but I loved the fabric and under $300 for a cute accent chair!

More fall goodies...pom-pom pillow ($19.99), tartan plaid pillow ($29.99) and fur throw ($29.99) - don't these just say COZY!

Camelbak water bottles are my go to water bottle for my kids.  Even if you lose your straw, they still work great tipped up.  This size works great in lunch boxes and they are $7.99 there which is less than amazon if you aren't particular on pattern!

We love Skip Hop products.  These little pouches were on clearance for $3 (for 2 coordinating pouches).  You could use them for all sorts of things from holding crayons to band-aids and hand sanitizer!

I buy all of my son's Under Armor, Nike and Adidas clothes at TJ Maxx.  It is substantially less and compares to prices you would find on athletic wear at Target or Wal-Mart but it resells better when you are finished with it.  I just sold a bunch of Solon's old stuff to a consignment store.   I found this pair for $16.99 in the big boys section.  They have tees, cold gear, hoodies, and pants right now.

As we wrap up our tour, I stopped by the toy section.  It's never too early to start shopping for Christmas and we love Melissa and Doug brand toys.  Our daughter especially loves their craft kits.  TJ Maxx always has a supply of different kinds.  When I see one I know she will like I pick it up and store it for a gift (I always have a gift tote hidden with things I find throughout the year)  I also love to gift these to friends!  All of these sets were $3.99.  I purchased all 3, shhh don't tell!

I hope you enjoyed window shopping with me around TJ Maxx.  You never know what you will find, it's like a treasure hunt in that store.  There is always treasure to be found, you just have to look hard and shop often (darn!).
