We just got back from 9 great days in sunny (albeit chilly) Florida where we met Mickey and the gang during an unforgettable stay at Walt Disney World. We hopped back into the real world Sunday and Scott came home with 4 2nd row tickets to the ISU game last night. Today I made my first "not out of the box" chocolate cake with coffee flavoring for his birthday with the kiddos. I am also in the throws of organizing the MOPS used toy give away. I totally have these big ideas and then wow there is a lot that goes into it. So worthwhile though. We have 37 families as of right now and 91 kiddos we will serve. I just hope the gifts to kid ratio works out. Praying God will handle those details as I scour my excel spreadsheet, send PDF's and exchange emails with families. I have a great support system with fellow mops moms who will help set-up next Monday for the give away Tuesday. It may be a gift but we are sharing the love of Jesus this Christmas and giving them hope past their present circumstances. Praying they feel Him this Christmas and the eternal joy He can bring. I promise to be back soon with vacation updates but I hear the kiddos in their bedrooms so naptime is officially over for the day :)!
