Florida Day 4: Heading to Disney...

The next morning we got up bright and early and headed over to Disney World.  To say everyone was excited, would be a HUGE understatement.  We stayed at the Contemporary right next to the Magic Kingdom.  We actually walked the 5 minutes back and forth, it was faster to walk than take the monorail.  Disney knows kids and they treat you like royalty.  Everywhere we went, it was "princess" and "prince".  I was SO impressed and normally I have too high of expectations.  Our rooms weren't ready but they took our luggage.  A friend had told me to enjoy some time at your resort as it is so magical in its own way.  I took their advice and so glad we did, the pool was super quiet and we had a blast all afternoon playing (minus the lifeguard jumping in to save Solon....umm, yeah - mom and dad fail...he was totally fine just super embarrassed as were we!).
Along with parent check-in, kiddos can check in too!
Bailey and Madelynne with our kiddos.  They are all pretty much attached at the hip when we are together.  M and B take amazing care of my kiddos...

Solon and Daddy with a sculpture at the hotel...
And some fun swimming at the pool...

When we went upstairs a little gift was waiting for the kiddos - personalized hats (thanks grandma!).

That night we went to Downtown Disney for dinner and ate at Fulton's Crab House (would not recommend it) and then Grandpa surprised up by catching an early flight.  I seriously thought I was being accosted by some stranger...my flight or fight mechanism needs refining ;)!  The kiddos loved picking out a souvenir with Auntie Ellen for their Christmas present.  It was super crazy busy...
Vera wanted her picture next to this statue...this was the best smile we got next to a character the entire time...

We headed home to watch the light parade on the lagoon and got to bed early as we had a big day at the Magic Kingdom waiting for us!
