Go State...

It's never easy being a Cyclone and the start of this year is no exception...our record was 0-2 for the 1st two home games.  AND the 1st home game was a bajillion and one degrees...we saw people with baby pools and wished we had one ;)!  We always have fun seeing the grandparents and friends from college and now tailgating.

I mean if you have to be hot, you might as well look cute...
My boys...
My mom and dad...

Then the 2nd game was the Iowa-Iowa State game.  The weather was much more pleasurable, I wish I could say the same about the game.  The most exciting part was the last 2 minutes and we had left with the kiddos by then...luckily for us the Cyclones have now won so hopefully they can keep that momentum! Here's to hoping...

The football crew - Solon works his grandparents hard at the tailgate, playing any number of games...
Our friends, The Porter's, even came and joined us.  We loved having them...the boys had a blast together as usual!
Family photo op - 3 of 4 smiling and everyone looking - success in my book!
Auntie Ellen even stopped by...
And Miss Stylish ready for the game...

Buddies - Grandma & Solon

Despite the first two losses, we had a blast with family and friends.  It wouldn't be fall without a little Cyclone tailgating and hanging out!

Go STATE!
