Today is baby day...

Today is induction day and I was up before the alarm with hopefully the last charlie horse of the pregnancy.  I got to eat breakfast this time (last time I was in the hospital the night before) so I am a happy camper!  We checked in to the hosptal around 7:15 am.  We got hooked up to the monitors and answered all the registration questions before Dr. Kaufman came in and broke my water.  I have been hooked up to petocin via IV and sitting in a rocking chair watching TV and blogging :) (obviously the petocin has not kicked in yet).  I am at a 4 and 60% effaced so a little work to do before we are ready to go!  We will keep you updated as we go....

I had a little moment last night after laying my first baby down to sleep - our life will forever be changed and change is scary and exciting all at once.  I know I have everything in me to be a mommy of 2 and love both with all my heart but still the unknown can be a TAD scary -- good thing for AMAZING husbands who rub your back and tell you "you are not crazy".

Okay more later - off to do some online shopping, facebooking, watching cable tv (we don't have any at home anymore), and chatting....Solon is at home with Grandma and Grandpa getting spoiled and watching Seseme Street.
