Slow and steady wins the race...

Monday, September 12, 2011
I have to keep chanting that mantra as labor I guess is a marathon and not a sprint (as much as I would like to sprint).  We spent about an hour and a half walking the OB floor to get the petocin moving.  It did the trick and I have been contracting regularly for about 2 hours.  It is only now getting a bit more ouchy and very steady.  They let me have a popsicle and Scott enjoyed some refreshments from the patient commissary on the floor :)!  Just trying to pass the time and hang out...seeing all the babies in the nursery gets us so excited and also blows our mind that in just a few hours we will be holding our own.  So I guess we will just have to stay the course of this marathon...thanks for the prayers, I am sure calm....here's to hoping there will be more news soon!
