Thursday (day 2) of the wedding weekend in Eureka Springs was our only free day without any planned wedding events so we filled it with lots of fun springtime activities!
We started off the morning with coloring Easter eggs. Solon was just 9 months old last year so this was his 1st year participating and he enjoyed dunking the eggs into the colors!
The whole family had their creative juices flowing...
This was our only sunny day so luckily we took advantage and took a walk around our cabin (located in the background). We stayed on Stonewall Mountain named after a stonewall the Confederate Army built while they camped up on top during the Civil War. It had a beautiful view of the Ozark Mountains.
That night we celebrated Angee and Grace's April Birthdays with dinner out at Bubba's, a local BBQ place, which was delicious. Then we went home and opened presents and had "dirt" for dessert! We also went shopping in downtown Eureka Springs in the afternoon as a large group. Solon got his 1st pair of Keen's for this summer and we also stopped to get a yummy chocolate!
Nana, Papa and the grandkids all sat together!
Paul, Great-Grandma Olive (age 91) and Scott
I can't remember the last time we took a picture of just the 2 of us (so I thought I was worth posting :)
Paul and Angee opened the gift the Malin's and us got them. They were very excited to try it out!
