Wow time flies - I had my 6 week post-partum appointment today. I can't believe my baby is getting SOOOO big. He now is weighing in at about 10 lbs. 9 oz. (probably more this week) and about 23 inches. He is officially out of his newborn clothes (I packed them away - tear) and is in Stage 1 diapers. (they are still a bit big but we have lots from our diaper shower)
His head is getting so strong and likes to focus at you. He is starting to smile but not on command yet. He loves to snuggle with mom and dad and especially likes to bounce out his burps. He goes through about 10 diapers a day - luckily Scott does his share (he is an AWESOME daddy!).
Solon now loves baths and just lounges (sometimes poops) as he is bathed! We found out Solon does not tolerate dairy well so I am currently cutting it out to help him out. He was pretty fussy with lots of spit-up. Cutting dairy is so hard but worth it to make him feel better and still nurse him!
He loves tummy time and even likes to sleep on his tummy - we are working on transitioning him to his big crib and out of our room (but mommy is lazy - it is so much easier to just pull him into bed to nurse).
He loves to go on walks with Cy and I, be sung to, and talk, talk, talk when he is awake.
