35 Week Check-up and counting...

Oh my goodness...can't believe we have just over 3 weeks until B-Day (as we are calling it :-). I went in for my 35 week appointment and the doctor was pleased with the progress. I am measuring just a touch small but he thought baby would be close to average in height and weight. I had my usual NST today and Baby was NOT cooperating. I spent the 1st 30 minutes on the machine and little Baby moved a little bit but thought it would be better spent napping SO an apple juice box,a vile of m & m's, and a turn to my side in my comfy leather recliner later we had the pleasure of another 30 minutes on the lovely machine. Luckily the food, drink, and switch in body positions for mom sparked a little excitement in the wee one and I was cleared for another week - PHEW - I was going through all the things I would have to delegate to my mom and sister...

I got home just in time to make a trip to McDonald's (my weakness is McDonald's fries - no others will do) and then to breastfeeding 101 at the hospital. Us and about 30 other couples watching large breasts on screen for 2 hours. We learned a lot and I am sure it will all be fine but one step closer to the realization there will be a little person joining our world very shortly!!!!
When the class got over, I decided I didn't want to wait in line for the elevator with 30 prego people so we decided to do the stairs - little did I realize there were 7 flights of thme. I don't know who was more tired at the top - me or Scott. We rewarded ourselves with ice cream. Boy, I am going to miss being able to eat like this :-)!

Friday is our last ultrasound at 36 weeks...I have a new camera and pictures to post soon! Our decision not to attend my Masters graduation on Friday is okay I think, can't imagine how long it would take to get to La Crosse stopping to go to the bathroom as often as I need to go....but we will celebrate in DM with dinner on Friday...
